About the artist Don Barnett, born & raised in California and a student of the well Known Art Center College of Design in Pasadena is now following his craft in the Pacific northwest. Primarily a digital Illustrator and painter, Don has had shows in the L.A. area and has recently been reviewed in Desktop Publishers Journal for his illustration (april '98). Always fascinated with the marine environment, and an avid Scuba diver, Don decided to bring his art and love for the ocean together. The Cachalot image is a good example of his storybook like style. This style shows Don's interest in childrens book art, a development that becomes more prevalent with the arrival of his new daughter Emma Jewell. Go Back Order poster
