Plankton-b is the sum of many years work with
symbols, microscopic life forms, and organic vs
inorganic form studies. The idea was to create a
typeface that retained letterforms using as little of
the traditional form elements as possible.
This became a nearly impossible task and was
several times abandoned. The result when
finally finished is plankton-b. At some date it's
companion "plankton-a" will be available.
Plankton-a will be a body font which will be
more legible at smaller sizes.
